A Look Back At Series One of Toasted Fiction Theatre #1

Whilst work on series 2 is underway, I want to share some photos taken by Ginger Snaps Scotland (visit them here) of our last day of rehearsal and recording on the final batch of episodes.

On the Main Stage of Beacon Arts Centre with Charlie Graham, Colin Little, Megan Hair, Cameron McGarva, Hazel Ann Crawford and Kirsty Strain.

This is one of my favourites from the main stage of @thebeaconarts - we were reading a comedy that I had written called Ratins’ about Scotland’s answer to the Kardashians, The Mackenzies. Hopefully we will one day dive further into the lives of these characters - I love them!

It managed to get everyone on stage together at the end of the night. I didn’t know if the script was funny - until the cast brought them to life and the laughter came. The relief and joy as soon as the table read started was amazing
